Description

Ludwigia sedioides is a kind of Mosaic plant. It has leaves that radiate from the center stem. It has diamond-shaped leaves with a dark to light green color and jagged red edges. A stem of this plant is rooted in the substrate, but the leaves float on the surface of the water. It is an impressive addition to an aquarium. If the lighting simulates seasonal changes, these plants will bloom profusely. They have small yellow blossoms that resemble buttercups. The mosaic plant reproduces by means of seeds produced by its flower.
