Description

Echinodorus Palaefolius grows naturally in marshy areas. This aquatic plant has rounded leaves, but when submerged, its leaves become narrow and long. Newer leaves may show a slight reddish tint and will fully color up as the plant ages. These plants will tolerate most lighting conditions with nutrient-rich substrates, but moderate to high lighting is ideal. It is not necessary for the plant to be injected with CO₂, but it will be beneficial if the plant grows faster. It is also a fast grower. Echinodorus Palaefolius can grow submerged or emersed. The emersed form can produce lovely white flowers.
