Description
Echinodorus Palaefolius grows naturally in marshy areas. This aquatic plant has rounded leaves, but when submerged, its leaves become narrow and long. Newer leaves may show a slight reddish tint and will fully color up as the plant ages. These plants will tolerate most lighting conditions with nutrient-rich substrates, but moderate to high lighting is ideal. It is not necessary for the plant to be injected with CO2, but it will be beneficial if the plant grows faster. It is also a fast grower. Echinodorus Palaefolius can grow submerged or emersed. The emersed form can produce lovely white flowers.
