Description
Echinodorus ‘fancy curl’ is an attractive plant and is a result of mutation from Echinodorus Cordifolius .The name Cordifolius refers to the heart shaped leaves of this beautiful plant, making the plant a dominant presence in a well planted aquarium. The circular leaves are borne on short petioles and are arranged in dense rosettes leaves with vibrant green and have small patches commonly known as fancy curl. This is one of the easiest undemanding plants to maintain in aquarium; needs very low care, very low nutrients and low light and is ideal for beginners. This can be grown emersed in paludariums/terrariums/phytospheres/Wabikusa etc. Echinodorus cordifolius fancy curl prefers good light and an abundant nutrient supply as well as additional CO2 injection for good growth and to develop leaves as well as an ample supply of nutrients it grows very fast & thrives in your aquarium. The plant demands a relatively low amount of light, and CO2 addition is recommended to promote growth.
