Description

A characteristic feature of Ludwigia palustris-Hi Red is its deep bright red leaves. For best color and compact growth, the plant requires strong lighting. Lower lighting causes the internodal distances (gaps between leaves) to increase, the leaves to remain a duller green/red color, and the lower leaves may drop off. The plant does produce aerial roots, which can be left alone or trimmed if desired.
