Ludwigia inclinata var ‘cuba’ is commonly known as Ludwigia sp. ‘cuba’. It is a striking large stem plant, which grows in both emersed and submerged forms. In the emerged forms the plant has green ovoid leaves and develops beautiful yellow flowers. But in submerged forms its shoots are densely covered by narrow leaves and young leaves are of a coppery to brownish red under bright light. The plant requires sufficient light, additional CO2 and a well-balanced nutrient supply for healthier growth. Ludwigia sp. ‘cuba’ is a fast growing plant.
